The E1 channel protection switching device adopts a "1+1" dual routing redundancy architecture, which sends concurrent signals through the primary and standby transmission channels. The receiving end analyzes the transmission quality of the two routes in real time (such as error rate, alarm status, etc.), automatically selects the optimal path to output the signal to the user equipment, and achieves lossless switching.
One device can support up to 8 E1 protections.
PT-50P 1008 is an E1 protection switching device, which consists of a chassis, one power monitoring integrated card, one E1 switching card, and one E1 holding card. The chassis adopts a standard 19-inch 1U high, plug-in structure, with a total of 3 slots. The Power Master Control Integrated Card occupies 1 slot, and the E1 channel switching card occupies 1 slot, and one slot for the E1 Channel maintenance card, and the system can be equipped with a portable and reinforced mobile LCD handheld terminal. A single device supports the protection capability of 8 E1 channels.
PT-50P 1008 can be installed in the central office to realize point-to-multipoint E1 protection application, or one set can be installed at the central office and one set at remote to realize point-to-point 8E1 protection application.

The PT-50P 1008 E1 channel protection switching device has the function of Power-off hold. The device protection channel is not divided into main and standby. The device always remembers the working state of the E1 protection channel. When the power supply of the equipment is lost, the protected channel is automatically maintained in the current protection channel;
Ø Multi-channel clock synchronization
The system can configure port clock synchronization through the NMS. The number of single-board synchronization ports can be configured as 2 to 8 channels, which can be grouped arbitrarily. Some channels in the single-board can be bundled for clock synchronization, and the unbundled channels are still single-channel protection. The clock synchronization delay can be up to 4 seconds.
Ø Portable and rugged mobile LCD handheld terminal
The system can collect the working status of any E1 of current equipment through a portable handheld terminal, and configure the working mode of the E1, including frame structure, switching mode, number and port of synchronously bundled channels;
Ø Maintenance
Each protection unit of E1 channel protection switching equipment is composed of "E1 channel switching card" and "E1 Channel maintenance card". Both boards can work independently. When we need to plug and replace the "E1 channel switching board" or "E1 Channel maintenance card" for equipment maintenance, it will not cause business interruption;
Ø The power supply is 220VAC plus -48VDC.
